Excellent quality and comfort. Staff friendly and professional. Breakfast was very good and included in the room's price. Very good and cheap lunch buffet. Great pool and spa. 24H parking services for free.

Looking at the other reviews here, there's not much I can add. The place is simply great. The hotel is clean with modern rooms. The people working there are very friendly. And you can't beat the price. I would surely go there again, in fact, I'm thinking about taking my family there.
On one side of the hotel you get a nice view of Vitusha mountain in the morning.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Sofia Bulgaria in June and in July when we returned from our family holiday to the Black Sea. We were two adults and four children, ages six and under, including an infant. The hotel has a very modern decor and is extremely clean. Our room was nice and the beds were very comfortable. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and I was impressed with the incredible service we receieved. They served us as though we were royalty. The Shopska salad was delicious and I'm still thinking about it. There is an indoor pool, whirlpool, and sauna as well, which my children and husband enjoyed.
I also must mention the kindness of the staff and management. Thank you so much!!

This was our first stay at this lovely hotel, but for sure there will be many more to come!
The rooms are fantastic - very clean, modern, and the view to the Vitosha mountain is superb! It is really quite, as the hotel is away from the city fuss! The swimming pool is very nice, they also offer different type of massages - too bad we didn't have the time to try them!
The staff are absolutely admirable - they are really friendly, always ready to go the extra mile and to make your stay unforgettable! As we were not quite sure where to spend our free time, they recommended us some very nice places! It's pitty we couldn't see all of the sightseeings, but this is yet another reason to come back very soon!
And the restaurant is superb! make sure you try their Roasted Fillet of Beef and Almond Parfait in a chocolate Jacket - you will be thrilled! The breakfast, which was included in the price, is really abundant!
We are planning our next trip to Sofia in the spring season - we will come with our friends this time - and we will make sure we'll book Holiday Inn Sofia again!

I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years but my stay at the Holiday Inn @ Sofia was the best hotel & staff I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. My fiancee was overwhelmed and the staff was a real delight and most helpful!! Congratulations on a SUPER HOTEL!!!

This hotel is unique. Having stayed in many what you might call 'main stream' hotels before I was not expecting such quality and personal service as I received. I was made to feel so welcome by all of its staff. The Manager Anni Petrova is excellent in her role, catering above and beyond what was expected and requested, she was very kind, thoughtful and is proffesionsalism personified. Veronica in the restaurant at breakfast was very friendly and helpful and Yanitza in the restaurant in the evening was especially kind to me as I'm a picky vegetarian and she was very accommodating in my special requests whilst managing a busy night and other guests. The rooms are modern, spacious and clean and the hotel is only a 5-10 min cab ride from the city centre and airport so a great location. There is a nice swimming pool and there was a famous Bulgarian pianist playing the night we ate in the restaurant (Chef- the food was wonderful). I really enjoyable stay for many reasons and we will keep coming back!

I've stayed several times at this hotel for buiness purpose, the property and services are always top. My preferences are recorded, they always try their best to fulfil them. Located on a business park, the hotel has a reliable shuttle service to/from the airport. Modern, cosy, quiet, nice restaurant, large buffet for breakfast. Free access to the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, fitness. No bad surprises ever. I'll go back!

I haven't always had the best experiences with Holiday Inn and was put in this one for a 5 night business trip recently. I have to say it was excellent, comfortable rooms, great food and service and an excellent swimming pool rather than the 10m shallow baths a lot of hotels have. The staff were excellent and the buffet breakfast was very good as were the couple of evening meals I had although there are lots of good restaurants in the vicinity. It is only 10 minutes from the airport which is a plus.
