  • Central Bus Station Sofia, 10-15 minutes away
    Central Bus Station Sofia is the main bus station of Sofia, Bulgaria. Between 47 and 50 buses are departing at any time from 50 sectors within the Central Bus Station – Sofia on routes in Bulgaria and abroad. The bus station has 57 ticket windows, which accept cash, debit and credit cards. Ten additional bus stops are made available on days with heavy traffic. 2,250 passengers may pass through the waiting area in one hour.

    Arena Armeec Sofia is an indoor arena located in Sofia, Bulgaria. It has a seating capacity of between 12,410 and 19,000 spectators depending on its use.   • Balgarska Armiya Stadium, 10-15 minutes away
    Bulgarian Army Stadium is the club stadium of the Bulgarian football club CSKA Sofia. It is situated in the Borisova Gradina (Boris’s Park), in the centre of Sofia. The stadium has four sectors and a total of 22,015 seats, of which 2,100 are covered. The pitch length is 106 meters and the width 66 meters.

    Vasil Levski National Stadium is one of Bulgaria’s largest sports venues and the country’s second largest stadium. It is located in the centre of Sofia, on the territory of the city’s oldest and most famous park – the Borisovata gradina. The Bulgaria national football team’s home matches and the Bulgarian Cup finals are held at the venue, as well as athletics competitions. It was also used as the home venue for Levski Sofia’s Champions League games.

    Located on the outskirts of Sofia, Boyana Church consists of three buildings. The eastern church was built in the 10th century, then enlarged at the beginning of the 13th century by Sebastocrator Kaloyan, who ordered a second two storey building to be erected next to it.

    The Dragalevtsi Monastery is located within close proximity to Dragalevtsi, a quarter of Sofia city at the foot of the Vitosha mountain. Dragalevski Convent consists of a church, residential and farm buildings. The only one of which was preserved from the old monastery complex is the church, which is a type of basilica, dating back to the 15th century.

  • National Ethnographic Museum, 20 minutes away
    The museum contains exhibitions of costumes, textiles, jewelry, wood carving, wrought iron and more. A small craft shop sells handicraft items, costumes and musical instruments from all over Bulgaria.   • National Natural History Museum, 20 minutes away
    The museum was founded in 1889 and opened to visitors in 1907. Nowadays the museum has three major sections: Geology, Zoology and Botany. Apart from several meteorites, the ‘Earth and Space’ exhibition feature unique lunar samples and an impressive dinosaur skeleton. A special exhibition shows live pythons, crocodiles, and iguanas.
